Hearing Swanberg's suggestion, Phillip thinks it is very wise. He accepts it:

"Go ahead and keep me informed on their actions."

Then, when Tarak crumbles on the floor of the bridge, Raleigh thinks to himself:

Hope the meds will get here fast... The last thing we need is wounded crew lying here and there.

"Number One, I believe we will be able to trap a small number of Klingons onboard, if they should start beaming to the Lafayette. As soon as the first batch of them beams away, we could immediately raise shields, thus isolating them onboard. We could restrain them and then, since the Klingons will have done the first move, we will be in position to take whatever action is necessary to defend the ship."

"Mr. Xavier, we'll have only one shot at this, and we'll be counting on you to detect the Klingons that transport aboard. Be ready to raise shields immediately after the Klingons beam aboard."

"Everyone, any other suggestions?"
